A pink wedding dress and men’s updos gave this wedding reception some stand-out style
Chloe and Moose know that it’s never too late to celebrate love. They legally tied the knot in 2021 but decided to hold a reception in late 2022 to celebrate their marriage with friends and family. Before the reception, they had gorgeous photos taken (captured by Dutcher Photography) surrounded by wildflowers in a spot already special to them – the same place they took their “Yay, we’re married!” photos earlier that year. We can’t decide what we love more about this wedding… the pink wedding dress or the men’s updos (yes, you read that right).
This costume wedding is full of nerds and joy
We met on the battlefield at a LARP (Live Action Role Play) event. So we knew we were going to do something strange when we got to planning our wedding. If nothing else, the Rick Rolling is solid gold, but this one also includes several lovely readings and a “Three Things” section, where the couple […]
Star Wars meets Lord of the Rings at this meaningful Jewish wedding
The theme was a Jewish wedding with a Middle Earth and Star Wars twist. Costumes, lightsabers, swords, dancing, and giant turkey legs made the celebration go wild. But it was the meaning and intent that brought everyone to years.
Ink, roses, & tequila shots at this dark & romantic spring wedding at Lafitte Street Market
Gabrielle and Mark’s dark-spring romantic and gothic-inspired wedding day takes the saying “Until death do us part” to another level. Gabrielle began the day getting ready with her crew at Turning Point Tattoos, where Mark is a resident tattoo artist.
Overtones of rich red and dark wood were featured, while light sprigs of greenery and baby’s breath balanced the vivid colors. This wedding was so full of thoughtful touches and unconventional DIY details. Let’s see the whole thing…
