DonnaMarie & Ricky’s unholy union and heavy metal cabaret wedding
These metal heads know how to rock. They also know how to make an amazing heavy metal cabaret afterparty on a budget. Board games, ear plugs, lighters, and metal horns were required and provided. Oh, and you’re going to going to freak over the most awesome light-up Ghostbusters cake evar!
Lauren & Johnny’s rockin’ seaside aquarium boda
An authentic taco bar, a garage rock band, and the most awesome hand-illustrated invitation… need I say more? This South-of-the-border-influenced bash boasted lots of fun details and a gorgeous seaside ceremony. And you’ll love the bride’s Burning Man-inspired flaming copper flower bouquet!
Heavy metal love songs🤘75 tracks we played at our metal wedding
On my wedding profile, I got a question from one reader who asked “what type of metal did you play that the guests could tolerate all night?” The answer is, well, EVERY TYPE! You have to play all types of metal for those non-metal heads to the pros. We also used our laptop and rented the PA equipment because we could not get a DJ that would cooperate with what we wanted to be played. Here is a list of the main songs we used that night.
Stephanie & Peter’s technicolor candy house wedding
Surrounded by a technicolor wonderland house, a bride in a purple and black dress fits right in. She and her top-hatted groom had a witness-by-lottery, Pixy Stix centerpieces, and somehow overcame a major bus malfunction to rock the night away in New York.
Jessica & Andrew’s rollin’ Burtonesque glam wedding
A wedding that makes you feel like you’re walking through The Corpse Bride sounds awesome, right? What if bowling was added? Yeah, I thought so… double awesome!
How a fiance visa created in this gothy Halloween wedding
A silent film star, an elegant vampire, and a raven winged officiant = perfect Halloween wedding. You know it’s good when the officiant has to say “You may now STOP kissing the bride.”
