Amber & Marshall’s faerie-infused Renaissance wedding
Turkey legs, jousts, games, wench-y corsets, and a golden rose ceremony: sounds like a Renaissance festival wedding for the ages. And then add in the blessing from the king and queen, the adorable mini-chapel, and the tree-climbing uncle-with-a-camera, and you’ve got a wedding that’ll melt any garb-wearing Renny around.
Encourage guest bonding with packs of playing cards
Wanna encourage your guests to interact and get to know each other? Board games have been employed by offbeat couples past to kick off the group bonding. But board games are big and take up space. That’s why Annie and Erik’s idea of putting packs of playing cards on each table is a great one.
Play a game to pick your witnesses at random
Each guest (of appropriate age) received a Bingo card in a sealed envelope. When we came to the signing of the registry, the guests were instructed to open their envelopes and we rolled out a Bingo cage. The two winners of our Bingo draw got to be our witnesses… and took home a lovely engraved toaster!
Leslie & Stevan’s roller skating hula hooping pumpkin-filled Hallowedding
Hula hoops, foosball, and roller skates… oh my! This is one game-happy Halloween wedding. Add in the chic lollipop bouquet, the sequined shoes, and the bedazzled pumpkins, and it’s a pretty gorgeous wedding, too. Plus, you’ll never guess who convinced the couple to embrace the Halloween theme.
