Black outfits and ring tattoos at this Boston City Hall elopement
Kathleen and Eric scrapped their traditional wedding plan and decided to get married at Boston City Hall on a warm October day, have their favorite artist tattoo their rings, and celebrate with drinks at a bar. And this suited Kat and Eric way better — the ones who love shopping for spooky things in Salem, drinking good beer, and walking through the woods together.
A romantic Ohio forest elopement for two (with purple hair and smoke bombs!)
Kitti and Sean wanted a private and intimate Ohio forest elopement for two. They want it private, but they also wanted it to represent their style. Their photographer met them at the entrance to the forest at Pine Quarry Park in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. There was a private ceremony, a gorgeous cake, and a few stunning portraits (some with colorful smoke bombs — the groom’s idea!).
Let’s get a tiny look at this secluded Ohio forest elopement…
A summer solstice glamping elopement in the redwoods
Amanda and Josh moved across the country to the Seattle area from the East Coast, and made a point to explore the forests and scenery. They wanted to include nature by having a “glamping” elopement in the redwoods with a long day spent in each other’s company before exchanging personal vows. And to make that day as long as possible, they got married on the longest day of the year: the summer solstice!
An intimate city hall wedding (with a fascinating romance backstory!)
Dominic, an Englishman, was in Paris studying French. Marjorie, a Frenchwoman, had just finished her art studies and was babysitting two Anglo-French children in the Loire Valley. One November, while Dominic was visiting his aunt, the babysitter came home with his cousins. That babysitter was Marjorie. They met again the following summer while Dominic was spending his holidays there and bonded over a mutual love of rock ‘n’ roll. Fast forward to their intimate courthouse wedding in San Francisco…
