Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Disney details from Raina & Michelle’s wedding
Raina and Michelle had a Jewish wedding in Bellevue, Washington, that was crammed full of the most incredible (and incredibly nerdy) details and references. Check out a sneak peak of geeky wedding photos, shot by our very own Stephanie Kaloi from Offbeat Families and Crimson and Clover Photography…
Have a movie love affair with this Disney concert hall wedding
Diana and Luke got married in L.A. and wanted to put a little Hollywood magic into their wedding. And trust me, the magic is happening with movie-themed tables, popcorn favors, and ticket stub place cards. It was held in one of those venues that you just can’t even take in all at once (the Frank Gehry-designed Walt Disney Concert Hall!). The acoustics must be out of control, right? Good thing they had Del Atkins to make full use of it with his jazz band.
Mini golf, Disneyland, & cake: A reader roundup to make this the BEST DAY EVER!
Inspired by Fluffy Monster‘s “BEST DAY EVER!” Save the Date, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite photos from our reader pool that just might make today the best day ever… or at least improve your Monday.
Leah & Lisa’s fantastical whirlwind wedding of rainbows and butterflies
OMG rainbows! The Honor Party of Awesomeness is attired in a rainbow of petticoats, suspenders, ties, Converse, and shades, and that’s only the beginning. Ribbons of rainbows follow a rainbow of butterflies all through the details. Check out the cake topper that inspired it all and the pinky promise, thumb-touch, lick that sealed the deal.
A snowy kiss, punch card guest book, and some wicked pirates
Tribesmaid Christineff and her groom get romantic (and chilly) in the moonlight. What a dark and lovely way to start off the week, right? We’ve also lined up a cool guest book alternative involving punch cards, a Breaking Bad couples tattoo, and some pirates.
David & Stephanie’s kawaii anime childhood-inspired wedding
With touches of 8-bit video game fun, Hello Kitty, Kill Bill, and Disney, this pair wanted to channel their childlike joy for their guests. Add in a Pokeball ring holder, a last-minute cake topper swap, and an epic bouquet toss, and you’ve got a super cute and totally personalized party.
