After 25 years and a second chance at life, this silver wedding anniversary in Paris is sublime
It was love at first sight at the supermarket in 1991 in the Netherlands. We got married on August 24, 1994. 25 years later we decided to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary in Paris for a few reasons. Firstly, being grateful for 25 years of married life. In 2018, my husband had a brain hemorrhage and we are grateful for his second chance in life. And we were extremely happy to invite our best friends forever who were our bridesmaids and groomsmen at our wedding 25 years ago to celebrate it with us in the most romantic city in the world — Paris.
A colorful & artistic wedding at Point Defiance Rose Garden in Tacoma
Savanah and Reid’s Tacoma wedding day vibe was super chill and laid back. Savanah wore a gorgeous white and dusty blue dress while Reid looked amazing in a floral shirt and suit. There were a lot of personal touches throughout, DIY, as well as eco-conscious elements.
Just wait until you see the cake which had edible chocolate hedgehogs!
Grab a microbrew for this lovely & casual fall brewery wedding
We wanted to have a fun party and celebrate us, so we did what we wanted. We fell in love over beer, so that ended up being our inspiration. We had our first look at the bar where we had our first date and a pre-ceremony photo shoot at the beer & wine shop I worked at when we met. I did not want to wear white, so I wore a beautiful navy dress with beading and a navy veil to match.
Two brides, matching gowns, & a T-Rex on a family farm in Louisiana
Kim and Jen, in their matching (but differently colored!) dresses, rocked a sentimental and super sweet wedding on Jennifer’s family farm in Louisiana.
Their reception was held at The Cabin in Darrow, and after their first dance, Jennifer sneaked off to change into a T-Rex costume to surprise everyone. The Anteeks kept the dance floor hopping the whole night.
