Black lace, bass drops, and big queer love in the trees
What happens when two EDM-loving queers get married in a literal treehouse? You get gothic romance, misty forest vows, and a reception that devolved (evolved?) into a tequila-soaked rave. Courtney and Riley’s wedding was high fashion meets high BPM—black lace, chosen family, bass drops, and tacos for days. It was tender. It was wild. It was queer magic incarnate.
No priest, just potions & puzzles: this handfasting was pure nerd magic
What do you get when you mix Dungeons & Dragons, handmade potions, a raven feather quest, two jade rings, and a pair of puzzle-loving weirdos in all black? You get Rose and Blackwell’s New Hampshire handfasting: part sacred rite, part escape room, all heart.
This Lord of the Rings wedding in a greenhouse is subtly nerdy
Gray and Samantha’s Lord of the Rings wedding in a greenhouse is just what the doctor ordered – a bit of greenery, a dash of magic, and a whole lot of queer love! We absolutely love this wedding for its subtle nerdiness and its earthy aesthetic – in part thanks to the greenhouse it took place in, in part because of its DIYed decor that you have to see to believe.
This dark gothic wedding is everything you’d want from a funeral director’s big day
This dark gothic wedding was full of black, gold, purple – and lots of love. Can you believe the marrier was nervous their partner wouldn’t go for the dark aesthetic? They went all in, and rocked the purple suit too! The marrier had family that did not understand the need to have a black wedding dress or a moody wedding vibe, but in the end, they thought everything was just perfect.
