We had a big wedding planned. We had bridesmaids and everything! But during the pandemic… We decided to just take off without telling anyone and get married. We used nature as our decoration and it was more perfect than the big wedding we were planning ever could have been.

Belle and Layne chose to play their cards close to their chest when it came to announcing the wedding. In fact, they didn’t announce it was a wedding until guests arrived at the property! Caitlinn and Luke were married atop a huge rock in a beautiful, sunny clearing. The day proceeded with happy tears and bare feet. They incorporated their love of travel (especially to Africa) in their decor and theme. Instead of giving away something small as favors, they had glass jars with Beta fish in them next to three different charitable organization’s write-ups. The guests could take a pebble and pick which organization they wished receive a donation in their names.
