A blended family wedding with two brides and a long-lost ring
Nicole and Julie had a lovely outdoor ceremony in Washington full of emotional and sweet touches. They had lots of DIY projects and planned the whole shebang in only two months. One very sweet surprise for Julie was during the ceremony when Nicole and Julie’s father surprised her with her grandmother’s ring, which was thought to be lost.
Amanda & Kaleb’s tattooed lakeside wedding
A wedding planning bride, heartfelt vows, a gorgeous lakeside ceremony, and a dessert buffet that will make you hungry: this wedding is a feast for the eyes. Even with a budget, they knew how to prioritize what matters to them. Oh, and definitely check out the bridesmaids in boots! So adorable.
A colorful gay Mexican Dia de los Muertos wedding
This wedding explodes with color, papel picado, and Dia de los Muertos imagery. But seriously… the best parts are the choreographed ceremony entrance and the amazing choreographed hip hop first dance (that we teased last week!). Don’t fret, because there are videos for both that you don’t want to miss!
A sweet barn wedding with a string band
Maggie and Theresia made almost all of the decor themselves including all of the tablecloths, bunting, and book centerpieces. Friends made their cake and each of their grandmas made cookies. One of their favorite memories was when their friends, who had formed a band and practiced for weeks for this event, performed “Home” by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.
