Our hearts warmed upon seeing this homegrown backyard woodland wedding
We wanted a forest-themed wedding because of our shared love of nature and the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in which we live. We also wanted to focus on our friends, family, and community. We sought out vendors we knew, the caterer used produce from the farm where Adrienne volunteers. The favors (goat’s milk soap) and the flowers both came from vendors at our farmer's market.
All the modern boho touches you love baked into this pink + red wedding shoot
So many venues are embracing that super clean, white aesthetic that allows all of your colorful choices to totally stand out. That’s definitely what’s going on at this modern loft wedding inspiration. There are boho touches, the ever popular (with good reason!) macrame, touches of red and pink (both of their hair — amazing!), and floral details that made us all swoon. Don’t miss the floral-covered hoop bouquet, the tiny desserts with a red theme, and the adorable sweetheart table with lucite table numbers!
Ladies of the Lake: Nimue marries Morgan Le Fay in this Arthurian wedding shoot
We’ve definitely seen grooms with swords cutting cakes at weddings (note: do NOT put the sword back in the scabbard with cake on it. You’ll thank yourself later). But we hadn’t noticed quite as many women with swords (though we have seen a couple!).
The team who crafted this inspiration shoot drew upon the myth of the Lady of the Lake from Arthurian legend, but with a twist: the Lady marries Morgan Le Fay!
Two brides, a mountain view wedding, and cotton candy skies
They shared a love for the mountains of Colorado, so it was only natural that when plans to hold a big wedding bash in Kentucky fell through, they decided to live out another dream of having an intimate wedding with some serious Sound of Music scenery. Waking up to rainy dawn in Estes Park, Ali and Rachel began a slow morning of wedding prep. They did what we wish every couple would do, enjoyed their day and lived their moments. There was Elk watching, breakfast, hiking, and attempts to stave off the rain with “Isn’t it Ironic” lyrics.
