Stefanie and Erica planned a stunning beach wedding in Aptos (a small town just north of Santa Cruz known for its amazing beach and beach houses). What they didn’t know was that rain would be the order of the day as well. As in, tons of rain. At one point, waves washed away the ceremony site just hours before the wedding!
But this pair was not fazed and headed to the ceremony site when there was a short break in the rain. The sweet (and only slightly damp) ceremony was followed by a gorgeous reception at a beach house nearby. Instead of a cake, they rocked a display of designer donuts with a nod to their heritage: a Día de los Muertos topper!
