You guys know I have deep love of the sequined multi-colored full-frontal freak-out wedding gowns, and this photo of Sara‘s glittering multi-colored wedding dress fully feeds that hunger. The sparkles, the colors, the boldness of the floral bouquet… I'm moving in.
And wait until you see the dress in action…
As you might guess from these photos, the whole wedding was pretty amazing. Totoro was involved. (Thanks to Sara for submitting this to our Flickr pool.)
After rejecting the idea of a big wedding, Jordan and Philip decided to elope to one of their favorite places, The Albany Bulb. The area... Read more
All I can say is WOW … you are a spectacularly gorgeous celebration ~ thank you for being true to yourself and shining BRIGHT on your special day! Your groom’s eyes show how much he loves and appreciates you ~ bravo!
Thank you. It was difficult sometimes to follow our wishes, some well-intentioned people were afraid it would be a circus… but Joe (the hubby) unconditionally supported me when I had doubts about my choices. I may be wearing the dress, but he is the reason I listened to myself and wore it, and you can see how proud he is of me in that photo.
This is so stunning! I can’t stand it!!!
WHAT?! This dress actually exists outside of my dreams?!?!?!
Yes it does! It is Jovani 6757, and I bought it online for around $800.
THAT DRESS!!
SWOON-age!
OMG!! I love the socks!!
Haha, thanks! I love that I get to wear a little bit of my wedding day when my feet get cold. 🙂
THIS. Holy Hera, the dress is gorgeous. Thank you, OBB, for sharing it! And thank you, pretty bride, for making it real. We’re drooling over your sparkly loveliness. Or maybe just entranced. Mesmerized? Sure, we’ll go with drooling, entranced, and mesmerized.
You made my day!
I made the mistake of opening OBB at work. I just stared at that first gorgeous picture for a good minute. Good thing my boss is out of town!
Oh my gah. You are a swirly nebula of color and it’s amaaaazing.
Holy crap, holy crap, holy crap…I hate using all caps but WOWZA THAT DRESS IS THE GREATEST DRESS!!
Where did you get your rings! they are beautiful! Or if anyone can tell me keywords to look for this kind of swirly effect? (http://www.flickr.com/photos/118340703@N07/12684998073/in/photostream/ on Totoro)
That’s called woodgrain mokume.
Indeed it is, and they were made by Debra Tapian.
Oh my gosh, you look like the most beautiful nebula ever! 😀
I swear the photo of you twirling makes me squee like a little girl! You look like magic incarnate.
Holy Shiznit that is amazing! And you wore it insanely well- good for you!!!
This dress is fantastically fabulous! I’ve been going back and forth on a black dress that’s covered in sequins for my own ceremony. How did your arms survive rubbing against all those sequins? That’s my main holdup.
The sequins were flat, so it didn’t bother my arms at all.
I love love love the dress but – the flowers! the Totoro! the socks! So much awesome!!!!
