This ultra stylish, 1950s-themed wedding inspiration got us right in the bookish feels. The bookstore backdrop is tickling our geeky hearts. I'm loving the aesthetic of myriad piles of books, shelves receding into the distance, and old wood from floor to ceiling. I wish we had scratch-n-sniff technology for the book smell! Plus, it's totally a stealable idea for your own engagement shoot or wedding portraits.
Photographer Zoe immediately thought of Owl & Company Bookshop in Oakland, CA as a nerdtastic venue. Then it was all about the one-of-a-kind retro dress (made out of re-purposed vintage items!) from Black Lotus Clothing, secret owl pins hidden within the bouquet by Steph Price Productions (as a nod to the bookstore name!), and fabulous victory rolls courtesy of Lacee Deniz. Our 1950s-loving hearts covet this look SO HARD. Want to see the retro wedding inspiration? Don't miss the corset back on the dress…
