A dapper as hell groom and his super chic posse
Can we just take a second and talk about this groom’s ensemble? From the top: kick-ass plugs, mini-handlebar mustache, AWESOME striped bow tie, pink chambray shirt (from Propercloth), and of course, a fabulous suit from one of our favorite vendors for grooms and dapper brides, [vendor-heart link="http://offbeatwed.com/2012/03/custom-suits"]Duchess Clothier[/vendor-heart].
Karly & Steve’s artsy and crafty upcycled wedding
A certain superstorm may have wreaked havoc in the days before this wedding, but they pulled it all together somehow with the help of friends (and a new “BYOC: Bring Your Own Cupcakes” clause!). We’re really thankful they did, because we did not want to miss the amazing Wai-Ching dress, gorgeously-coiffed dreads, adorable family sand ceremony, and all of the DIY projects. Oh, let’s not forget the Harry Potter-inspired saxophonist/magician and impromptu break dancing on the dance floor.
Eyelash jewelry for the more daring among us
We’re no strangers to wild fake eyelashes, but I had to add these beaded and bedazzled lashes from Etsy seller EyelashJewelry to the list. They’re pretty out there, but also kind of awesome for the right wedding.
The happiest gay lumberjack wedding ever
I got completely immersed in the photos sent from Kristen Marie Photography, and was cheering along with the guests (you’ll see what I mean when you get there). She described this as a “gay lumberjack” wedding, which is just fantastic. There’s summer camp/scouting influences, talent shows, tubing down a river, log cutting, and the happiest faces ever. Plus, it’s in Washington, so it’s legal. Seriously, just start looking.
