We can’t decide what we love more about this wedding… the pink wedding dress or the men’s updos (yes, you read that right). Chloe and Moose legally tied the knot in 2021 but decided to hold a reception in late 2022 to celebrate their marriage with friends and family. Before the reception, they had gorgeous photos taken (captured by Dutcher Photography) surrounded by wildflowers in a spot already special to them – the same place they took their “Yay, we’re married!” photos earlier that year. Both Chloe and Moose each had stand-out elements to their wedding reception looks, and we know you're going to love them as much as we do. And for any animal lovers out there – this celebration might just spark some inspiration for how to make your furry friends part of your special day without having to worry about them stealing napkins off your guest’s lap (or whatever particular mischief your pets like to get up to).

Move over, Barbie! There’s a new pink dress in town! Chloe wore a stunning wedding dress with a pop of color in the skirt, and we’re obsessed. What looks like a traditional wedding dress up top (and still gorgeous, by the way) becomes something truly special as it descends to the ground with its pop of pink down below. Because the color in this dress is rich but layered beneath some white lace, this look strikes the perfect balance of subtlety and statement. Such a great option for someone who wants to color outside the lines with their wedding look but doesn’t feel like something super bold fits their personality.

It’s not every day we are writing about men’s hairstyles here on this blog… but the men’s updos at this wedding celebration are giving us life! Both Moose and Chloe’s brother Sam wore braided updos for this special day, and Sam even added flowers to his style – a subtle complement to his sister’s stunning flower crown. We love styled men’s updos as an option to add some intrigue and personality to men’s wedding looks. What’s that saying again? If you have it, braid it? More men’s wedding updos, please!
Fur friends attended in spirit at this reception with a pink wedding dress
Chloe and Moose aren’t just partners to each other; they’re co-parents to two adorable pups, Tia and Toast. Any dog parent knows that pups really are a part of the family, so Chloe and Moose’s wedding celebration photoshoot wouldn’t be complete without them. And although they weren’t at the reception (as much as they love their furry friends, a couple of big dogs running around a dance floor just wasn’t the vibe they were going for that day), Tia and Toast were there in spirit. Not only were the desserts at the reception named after them, but there was also a life-sized cut-out of Chloe, Moose, and their dogs that guests could take their photo with – yes, the kind of cut-out where you can put your face on someone else’s body. Way to make your guests feel like part of the family!
This reception with a pink wedding dress had a style all its own
We love to see how our Offbeat couples make their celebrations their own, and this couple did just that. From the pink wedding dress, to the men’s updos, to the unique photo ops, Chloe and Moose’s style at their wedding reception was subtle, silly, and, most importantly, unique to them.
