This Ocracoke Island wedding takes full advantage of the oasis-like environment of the island off the coast of North Carolina. The island is special to Erin and her family, they've been visiting every year since she was young. When she introduced it to Luke, it was a shoe-in for wedding destination bliss. They rented a beautiful house on the sound, and wed in the backyard among their family, friends, and lots of driftwood.
Erin's wedding dress was a work of art in itself, sewed and dyed by hand. Erin's mom knit the shawls for the ladies in the wedding party, and made the amazing cake. Even the blankets at the ceremony were hand-dyed. Everyone ate waffles from a food truck and danced the night away among the eclectic and rustic decor. We are SERIOUSLY entraced by this Ocracoke Island wedding.
