When I saw this killer photo booth idea (or guest book idea!) from Jane and Matt's wonderfully weird Austin wedding, I knew it was a winner. Prompting guests to roast you Mystery Science Theater 3K-style is a perfect way to snag laughs. I recommend grabbing a camera and making sure to catch it on video, too.
Here's what Jane told us about it:
We made a cardboard silhouette from Mystery Science Theater 3000 to adhere to the stage and invited guests to riff our wedding. We wrote our own vows, both of which made references to MST3K.
Pro tip: a crowdsourcing wedding video app (like this one) allows guests to record and submit video themselves to an app so they can snap the vid themselves.
For the backdrop, you can DIY the MST3K silhouettes (high res here!) using this tutorial for blowing up and printing images. Then just attach it to a wall, put up some signage to get everyone roasting, and you're ready to roll.
Did you miss this wedding the first time?
Awesome! My fiancé and I are having MST3K cake toppers.
