After Michael and Liesl moved to Los Angeles, they called upon to help them craft their beachside Mattel toy-themed wedding. Between Liesl’s bright green gown and Michael’s purple shirt with hot pink tie, there was no shortage of awesome color schemes. They exchanged their vows overlooking the Pacific outside of the Annenberg Community Beach House.
On the way into the reception, each guest was given a very unique “escort card”: a Mattel toy! Michael, who works for the toy company, incorporated action figures into their wedding decor in lots of ways, including as menu holders. The table centerpieces were baskets of vegetables and other edible goodies that they juiced and drank the day after. Liesl and Michael tangoed for their first dance, and finished with a liquid nitrogen sundae bar for dessert.

I’m looking for a low key venue in LA and came across the Annenberg Community Beach House. The photos are gorgeous. Just curious if you would recommend the venue or if there’s any tips for working with them. I notice they have A LOT of options. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Also good lord is that green dress stunning!
