After meeting each other 35 years ago in college, Jodi and Patrick had a “love at first sight” moment. In the words of the bride, “After that brief but powerful initial encounter, we each went our own ways, not knowing that we each felt like we had met the love of our lives, and lost track of each other for 30 years.” Seven years ago, they found themselves reconnecting from across the US and finally spilling the beans about how they felt about each other decades ago. Hit the fast forward button and they make a home in NYC and find themselves seeking a fantastic way to elope. Enter a wedding in Iceland followed by a honeymoon through which would explore the entire island.
A Jeep took them to their beautiful lakeside ceremony spot where exploring commenced. Natural cave exploring was next on the agenda where they waded through water to get to a stunning spot. Shortly after, a picnic awaited them on a private black sand beach. Hand-in-hand venturing through moss-covered lava fields followed lunch. The photographer harnessed in and repelled off a cliff at the next stop to get an epic shot of the couple with a secret waterfall. They explored a colorful lighthouse, bird watched among golden cliffs, and ended the day at a hidden geothermal area.
Are you ready for some seriously EPIC shots of this Iceland honeymoon and elopement?
