Here are the seven really easy steps to make this vintage carnival wedding banner.

Things you will need:

STEP ONE:
vintage carnival banner 1Print the letters in your favorite vintage font on thick paper. Use teabags to stain the paper. Or use a wash of any colour of watercolour paint to go with your theme.

STEP TWO:
vintage carnival banner 2Use a cookie cutter to trace the heart shape for cutting.

STEP THREE:
vintage carnival banner 3Carefully cut out the letters.

STEP FOUR:
vintage carnival banner 4Add glue to the back of the letters and stick them on to the centre of the heart.

STEP FIVE:
vintage carnival banner 5Use a Sharpie marker to outline the hearts, just to make them pop.

STEP SIX:
vintage carnival banner 6Use a regular hole punch to punch two holes on the top of each heart.

STEP SEVEN:
vintage carnival banner 7Thread the hearts on to ribbon of any colour. Tip: Gluing the end of the ribbon together makes threading through the holes WAY easier!
