Today, however, it's not just about sky-high sparkly drag queen shoes. (Although yes, I have included a pair from RuPaul's shoe line.) Today, in addition to my usual heels and pumps, I'm making a point to include a ton of glittering Oxfords and boots for the dapper-footed among us. LOVE. The oxfords are SO awesome.
I bought those Glitter By Little heels at the top from Mod Cloth for my wedding in August! They’re amazeballs. Every time I look at them, I grin. Also, they’re remarkably comfortable for $60 heels.
I bought them for my August wedding, too, but ended up returning them, sadly. I got them for closer to $50 since ideeli was running a sale on Chelsea Crew (they’re called the Glinda, FYI).
Loved the shoe, but the sizing was off for my true 8.5 foot (I ordered a 40, and the 39 would have been too small).
I’ve been wandering aimlessly in the fashion desert trying to figure out my outfit for our big-deal-anniversar-party, but now I think maybe I should just build something around those flat glitter oxfords. Though I did just have to sign up for the “notify me when my size comes back” e-mail from Zappos. (Which is a fairly awesome thing I didn’t know they did.)
Love the Y’s by Yohji Yamamoto!! Something about the blue front and silver sparkly heel…Also, random bonus shoe is AWESOME – pretty sure if I didn’t already have my shoes picked out, I would totally be heading over to Zappos to find these fancy footwears : ]

Daaaaaamnit, the Not Rated Over the Top oxfords do not come in my size! There is a giant gaping hole in my soul where those shoes should be.

I own the bonus shoes! They’re surprisingly comfortable, and I got a ton of compliments on them when I went to a wedding this weekend. They’re a bit taller than they look, but I didn’t mind.
