I pinned this cocktail onto the Offbeat Bride Pinterest account and it pretty much went crazy with repins. I can see why because I, too, want to drink the shit out of that based on looks alone. Plus, I love bubbles. Let's take a look at what's in it via the recipe from Cocktail Remedy:
- 1 c. fresh lime juice (around 8-10 limes)
- 1 c. ginger syrup
- 1 750 ml bottle of gin
- 2 liters ginger ale
- 15 or so dashes of Angostura Bitters
- Lime slices, for garnish
Mix in a punch bowl and add ice.
Even if this doesn't end up being a signature drink at your wedding, it's at least just in time for New Year's Eve. Bottoms up!

About how many servings does this recipe make? It sounds delicious! I’m definitely going to serve it at my next cocktail party, and I may serve it at my wedding in October. (The cake has an orange-ginger frosting, so ginger punch would be pretty phenomenal and on point.)
i will defiantly be trying this one out!
I actually made this for a holiday cookie exchange. Everyone loved it! I didn’t think it was particularly special, but it was refreshing and had a pleasant way of making you want more.
Cheers!
I catered a wedding last night where we made something similar for their signature cocktail, in which we boiled ginger root with equal quantities sugar and water, let it cool, added orange slices, allspice and cinnamon, and mixed in rum and soda water. It was off the hook.
