Jenn and David's first date had video games at an arcade and their second date was Disneyland. They embody “grown, but never grown up” and wanted their Bard Mansion wedding in California to be as colorful and full of childlike wonder as they are. Jenn has rocked purple hair for almost a decade, develops color cosmetics for a living, and still rocks Lisa Frank school supplies on the reg. Was this wedding colorful? Oh hell yes it was. Lisa Frank, The Lorax, and rainbows themselves have nothing on this super fun colorful wedding.
They ceremony was full of whimsy, pom-poms (like these!), and included a white rose exchange set to “Storybook Love” from The Princess Bride.
For the reception, they capitalized on David's magician skills and his friends' to fill the role of emcee and evening entertainment. They also hired a professional beatboxer, had a killer photo booth, and an adorable bear cake. Let's gaze at the colorful splendor…

What a cute couple. The bride looks a little like Bjork to me 🙂
thank you so much!! i’ve gotten the bjork thing once or twice in the past and i love it, because i love her. 🙂
xo!
EVERY. PART. OF. THIS. WEDDING is just killing me with cuteness. It completely inspired me!
reading this made my day! thank you!!!
The bold splashes of colour work so well against the white backdrops in particular because of the fabulous contrast. I love the brides head-dress, it’s rather Frida Kahlo, and the dash of purple at the front of her dark hair is perfect with it … she looks stunning, really beautiful and that hippy dress works perfectly with it.
what a lovely and thoughtful comment. thanks so much for your kind words!
What a beautiful wedding! I love the photography as well- everyone looks so happy. Where did you get your amazing headband? I would love to get something like that one day!
hi tiffany! thank you so much!! i got my headband online at ASOS. i just took a gander and while it doesn’t look like my exact one is available anymore, they have tons of other beautiful options in the flower garland/headband/clip category for very reasonable prices! 🙂
Thanks for your help Jenn! 🙂 I just had a look at ASOS and they’re all so cute ^_^
