Jo and Sarah's bit of vintage glamour, laid-back style, epic ink, and sweet little setting set the stage for this wedding in Jacksonville, Florida. Their venue, the Mandarin Community Club, used to be the Freedom School built and founded by Harriet Beecher Stowe.
As a surprise for Sarah, Jo sang “To Make You Feel My Love” for the last dance of the night. Oh, and on the menu: fried chicken, pulled pork, and banana pudding! Thanks to Mark Dickinson Photography for sharing this fabulous day with us.

I adore this! The first photo is A-MAZ-ING!
The wall of photos looks super cool.
I hope you’ll consider writing it up!
writing it up?
Giving us the details! These are amazing pictures, and I really want the story!!
Oh yes the story! Sure! How do I do that? I am new to the website.
So much pretty and happy! Lovely details, colors, people, place…
I wish I could see more of that back ink, especially if it’s as gorgeous as the feather on her arm.
Here is the blog that we wrote for our website. You will find more images of Sarah’s beautiful back tattoo

Thanks for the link! The lovely goes on and on, but it’s the way you two look at each other that cinches it.
thank you Daniella!
I think I actually swooned, and perhaps blacked out a moment, looking at these photos! What a gorgeous wedding, gorgeous couple, and beautiful photography. Just, wow. And banana pudding for dessert, brings a tear to my southern eye. You two (and your photographer) are amazing, thank you so much for letting me ogle at so much beautiful!
That little boy with the bowtie is giving me LIFE!
Thank u! I told him you said that …he now thinks he is star! one of my favorite pics from the wedding
This wedding is so beautiful! I love how much joy there is in these photos.
I am loving this so hard.
That first photo is so stunning! I am in love with it. I especially love the little flakes of whatever that are floating down in the screen. I thought they were stars at first.
They do look like stars, but its actually rain. It was a light sprinkle and our photographer , who is amazing by the way, pulled us outside to take this and a few others in the dark. Love this one. One of my favorites.
*sigh* SO nice! There goes my ‘original’ idea of mason jars! Love the whole wonderful idea!! Congrats!
=)..we did love the mason jars! So much, we still use them for drinks each day..lol
I wanted to thank you for the feature. I thoroughly enjoy seeing the unique and inspirational weddings. It drives me even more to be a better photographer!
Sarah and Jo’s wedding was a very sweet, amazing day! I would do it over 100x again! (except for the scare of rain) 🙂
Thanks a bunch and I can’t wait to share more of the weddings so that we hope to be back here with you! <3
