Hanging windows to create a sense of space at your outdoor ceremony
Destiny and Dan were married on an overlook on the bride’s family property in the Texas Hill Country. One detail that really stood out was the inclusion of two gorgeous hanging windows as the ceremony backdrop.
A sweet barn wedding with a string band
Maggie and Theresia made almost all of the decor themselves including all of the tablecloths, bunting, and book centerpieces. Friends made their cake and each of their grandmas made cookies. One of their favorite memories was when their friends, who had formed a band and practiced for weeks for this event, performed “Home” by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.
A snowy kiss, punch card guest book, and some wicked pirates
Tribesmaid Christineff and her groom get romantic (and chilly) in the moonlight. What a dark and lovely way to start off the week, right? We’ve also lined up a cool guest book alternative involving punch cards, a Breaking Bad couples tattoo, and some pirates.
Add a secret letter memorial in your paper flower bouquet
Tribesmaid Inthecorridors made this very sweet little flower memorial for her grandmother and shared it on the Offbeat Bride Tribe. While it technically wasn’t for her wedding, how perfect would this be for brides with a paper flower bouquet (or even a real flower bouquet with one special paper flower tucked in)?
