When you’re planning a wedding, really good wedding photography can almost be like looking at dirty pictures! This is our archive of posts focused more on wedding photography (and less on written explanations).

Anatomy meets embroidery at this creepy-stylish and moody wedding inspiration

Anatomy meets embroidery at this creepy-stylish and moody wedding inspiration

If you’re on the hunt for sorta creepy, sorta Halloween-inspired, blood red anatomy meets science, this moody wedding inspiration is for you. I’ve been trickling in some dark and fun Halloween weddings lately and this one slid right in like buttah. What I especially love about this shoot is the fabulous lighting, the tres elegant styling paired with some offbeat touches, and of course, the embroidery!

Blue hair, brocade, & anatomical hearts at this Ireland goth wedding inspiration

Blue hair, brocade, & anatomical hearts at this Ireland goth wedding inspiration

It’s September which means that it’s totally Halloween season! You might think it’s too early, but this Ireland goth wedding inspiration says otherwise. We’re totally prepared to bask in the skull decor, deep red drinks, gold on black stationery, anatomical hearts, and an eerily gorgeous cake. Don’t miss these two gorgeous people sporting blue hair, stunning makeup, a black corset, and a silver brocade coat.

An intimate cocktail bar and a nearby forest served as the backdrops for this shoot and it’s getting us in that spooky mood we love…

How about dried flowers + gold foil wedding nail art?!

I am ALL about this gold foil + dried flowers wedding nail art

If I were to describe my current favorite wedding nail art, I think I’d go with a transparent base with dried flowers and gold foil. Oh but WAIT… that exists? And it’s in easy-peasy, non-permanent press-on form? I’m so in. I spied these temporary wedding nails over at Jane Safarian Nail Art, who coincidentally also has a bajillion more styles to choose from. Think chrome ombre nails, holographic nails, pink marble, 3D water droplets, and that dried flower look on black, taupe, and more.

Roma Eventos Editorial Strawberry Field 53 alternative wedding ideas from Offbeat Wed (formerly Offbeat Bride)

Don’t miss the greenery shawl at this Mid-Century Modern wedding right in the middle of a strawberry field

If there’s ever a universally loved style era, it’s Mid-Century Modern of the ’50s and ’60s. Charles and Ray Eames, groove, natural, themes, and major color make it so iconic from graphic design to architecture, interior design, and fashion. This Portugal wedding shoot was inspired by it all and features bright flowers, a retro-inspired dress, and a delightfully pop cake with matching paperie, all in the middle of a strawberry field.

But wait, is that a shawl made of greenery and flowers?! Yes, yes it is. And it’s AMAZING…
