Gender-neutral (and slightly NSFW) wedding party gifts
If you’re on my same wedding date trajectory (Wedding Season 2017!) then you’re probably frantically looking for gifts for your wedding party. And, you’re also noticing that almost all things labeled “wedding party gifts” have “bridesmaid” emblazoned across them in giant cursive letters. 22 retro weddings that slayed with throwback style
Every day is Throwback Thursday when it comes to retro weddings with vintage-inspired details. From the 1920s all the way to the 1980s (where’s our ’90s wedding?!), we’re loving this retro wedding style. Here are some of our very favorite retro bridesmaids, 1940s elopements, birdcage veils, pillbox hats, polka dots, and classic cars.
This subtle Link and Zelda wedding inspiration will teleport you to a fancy-pants Hyrule
An ethereal and sophisticated Link and Zelda wedding inspiration shoot? Oh hell yes, sign.us.up. It’s always amazing when geeks go super chic. Everything from the leafy paper goods, wooden ocarina, “It’s Dangerous to Go Alone. Take This” seating chart, Triforce symbol escort cards, and greens and stone colors everywhere, evoked the Legend of Zelda. Even the rings are Triforce-inspired. Oh, and don’t miss the chairs! On the groom’s chair is a sign that reads, “My Hero” with inscribed notes to the “Song of Time” and on the bride’s, “My Princess” with notes to “Zelda’s Lullaby.”
