Marich and Mackmade my heart leap with joy with their Harry Potter herbology-themed wedding in Washington. If you don’t already know, herbology is the study of the magical properties of plants within the Wizarding World. they were inspired by the wide open windows that their venue, The Black Pearl, had which had a bit of a greenhouse vibe. They added greenery, some mandrakes, Quidditch goal posts, a Monster Book of Monsters, Acromantulas, and so many more details you Potterphiles will surely spot. Don’t miss the Flying Ford Anglia!
A colorful dinos & games wedding in Pasadena (with a petting zoo!)
The first thing you can see in the space was a hundred golden dinosaurs on the welcome table. It was the hint that this wedding would be glam, whimsical, animal-centric, and totally fun. i mean, after the ceremony the guests were treated to a petting zoo! Don’t miss the super colorful wedding party, projected video games, sparkly gown, greenery covered ceremony, and of course, animals galore.
A romantic O’ahu wedding with two grooms, a beachside ceremony, & jumping the “groomstick”
A beachside ceremony, ceremonial leis adorning killer fashion, and two grooms ready to make it official on the southern shore of the island of O’ahu. This is a wedding to savor. White, blue, and silver roses adorned the island venue that was made even more magical with perfect island weather. Devon and Ricky had romantic and funny vows that were set to a song rhyme. Finishing the ceremony with the jumping over the “groomstick” capped it all off with a little tradition. Crowns, pink flowers, & the cosmos at this Space Center wedding
Jay and Rick described their Chabot Space Center wedding style as modern, edgy, and glam and I couldn’t love it more. Jay wanted to include a few nontraditional elements to capture who they are like her flower ring instead of a bouquet and a bad-ass crown made by her friend. The ceremony was also very customized and included the Quaker tradition of sitting in silence and waiting to be moved to speak.
