Charlie & Blaine’s 1950s style skull wedding
Glittery skulls, bangin’ victory rolls, and some AMAZING shoulder jewelry make this outdoor love fest into a chic little retro-inspired wedding. And don’t miss the candle unity ceremony (with grandmother cameos!), a flower girl who totally nailed her job, and a Corvette entrance to the ceremony.
Abby & Steve’s heartfelt friend-powered wedding
If you’re in the mood for GIANT crepe paper flower bouquets, a sweet and impromptu first look, and a couple super obviously and deliriously in love, then this wedding is your jam. Oh, and this bride’s experience with a day-of coordinator (who we know well!), is invaluable. And you’ll love the song that they kind-sorta accidentally danced to for their first dance!
Liz & Marc’s traveling fall circus wedding
Let’s see here: we’ve got a circus theme with a dog dressed as a lion, “boot-in-ears,” a bearded lady, a carousel horse guestbook, a midway full of games, a flash mob ceremony, an after-party with a ball pit, and a footie pajama football brunch the next day. If you can even process all that awesome, you’ll need to make even more room in your brain for the first dance surprise. Hint: a marching band was involved!
Courtney & Jason’s li’l Las Vegas pin-up wedding
Las Vegas isn’t really known for subtle and intimate, but this pair made it happen, complete with a pin-up-inspired backdrop at a 1950s-styled Las Vegas wedding chapel. Add a twirly dress and crinoline, a ceremony high-five, and some “zombie faces,” and this was a retro-fab party. Add on the big Toronto reception a month later, and the celebration was complete. Oh, and wait until you see the surprise ring from the bride!
