A Star Wars meets A Christmas Carol queer disabled multi-state wedding (in a blizzard!)
When we started planning our wedding, we quickly realized that since our families were separated by many states (I was raised in the midwest, he's from Virginia), it was going to be a logistical nightmare for us to get everyone together in one spot, so we decided to honor both sides of our family by coming to them. So we planned two weddings, one in VA and another celebration in IL.

We wanted to have a fun party and celebrate us, so we did what we wanted. We fell in love over beer, so that ended up being our inspiration. We had our first look at the bar where we had our first date and a pre-ceremony photo shoot at the beer & wine shop I worked at when we met. I did not want to wear white, so I wore a beautiful navy dress with beading and a navy veil to match.
If you love color, THIS wedding is going to blow your mind
Jay and Kacy got married on their shared birthday, July 28th with their dog Marbie and nine-month-old son, Milo, as the guests of honor. They decorated with bright, colorful paperie that they had collected for the entire length of their relationship.
Two brides, matching gowns, & a T-Rex on a family farm in Louisiana
Kim and Jen, in their matching (but differently colored!) dresses, rocked a sentimental and super sweet wedding on Jennifer’s family farm in Louisiana.
Their reception was held at The Cabin in Darrow, and after their first dance, Jennifer sneaked off to change into a T-Rex costume to surprise everyone. The Anteeks kept the dance floor hopping the whole night.
