Allie and Cloie had their colorful and whimsical nuptials at Blumen Gardens in Sycamore, Illinois. They were officially declared as the summer’s best-dressed couple which you’ll soon see. Hold on to your tiny, adorable hats… Allie, rocking a hot pink suit topped with a tiny floral fascinator, walked down the aisle with Cloie in her ethereal, vintage-inspired dress. If it was up to my husband we would have had a wrestling wedding, but we landed on a carnival theme because we felt like there was so much we could do with it. We picked a historic site, Glen Echo Park, which was once an amusement park in the 40 and 50s and still had some of the lights and structures standing.

The theme was a Jewish wedding with a Middle Earth and Star Wars twist. Costumes, lightsabers, swords, dancing, and giant turkey legs made the celebration go wild. But it was the meaning and intent that brought everyone to years.
A chill & rustic California redwoods wedding with pups
We wanted to have backyard celebration with a chill, Sunday afternoon vibe gathered with all of our closest friends and family. Obviously, our backyard wasn't big enough, so we went to our other “backyard,” a county park near where we live. The redwoods reminded us of our first dates, which consisted of many hikes amongst the redwoods.
