Puerto Rico wedding in a rainforest with love and a 5-piece Latin band
Puerto Rico was the first trip we took together, and travel is a big part of our relationship – so it has always held a special place in our hearts. We didn’t have a wedding party so much as a party wedding: a welcome party at a beach bar, a post-wedding food truck party, and then an island trip on a catamaran a few days later! Really we just wanted our friends and family to come travel with us for a week.
Disco Pride: a gay three-day Buddhist wedding
We think the best way to describe the proceedings is as a three-day wedding festival – vibrant, cheery, and outdoors! They didn’t realize they had a theme until after sharing what they were wearing themselves on the day and someone described it as “Disco Pride” and people seemed to run with that which was great!

We first met at the Warped Tour — we’re both musicians and huge fans of pop-punk. So of course we decided to have an emo wedding on a music festival cruise put on by the band Coheed & Cambria!
