Allyson and Casey came up with a clever way to keep guests occupied during their Harry Potter wedding. The couple asked guests to play Sybill Trelawney and make predictions for their future! Many thanks to Beaumond Originals for capturing this part of the day.

No, I did not want to do this game. I knew no matter what parameters I placed, they were all going to predict number of children.
Bleargh. That would have sapped all the fun right out of it for me. I think it’s a cute idea though!
I went to a wedding where they simply asked for a message on a card corresponding to a certain anniversary in the future — that way, you still get to think back to the people who were celebrating with you on the wedding day, but you’re not prompting them to write about something you don’t want them to (e.g. kids)
I would’ve put a big ol’ “SPOILER ALERT: We are not going to have kids, move to Texas OR become cybernetic supercomputers, so guess again!”
Definitely doing this! We already have two children so no awkward children conversation for us. Would be very interesting to see what people think of our lives !
I love this idea! We are having a very small, DIY ceremony and reception. Considering that there won’t be a professional DJ, a lot of dancing or entertainment – we are trying to come up with creative ways to keep our guests engaged. We are totally using this. For our small guest list, I think I will have the guests leave their responses in a basket or something. Then we could pull them out and read later. Should make for some funny after dinner conversation. Another crowd pleasing activity we are doing is the ever trendy pinata!
