Dallas makeup artist and hairstylist Vivienne Vermuth is one of our most creative partners. Like super creative, mask-making, body painting, innovating creative.
She's been in the cosmetic industry for over 10 years, and has worked with the cream of the crop: MAC, Clinique, ESTEE Lauder, Sephora, and Trish McEvoy. Her clients are equally rad: Cirque du Soleil, The Toadies, The Burlesque Experience, Dos Equis, and Kellogg… OH and Offbeat Brides!
It's true, you can have illuminating, professional, magic photo-inducing makeup by a stellar pro for your own wedding. No lie. Let's talk about the virtues of our lovely Vivienne and why you'll be back for more when you book her.
Okay, so Vivienne has created makeup masterpieces on movie sets, events, and huge productions, but she has a soft spot for weddings. She knows how to get that glow you want to capitalize on during the golden hour. She knows how to make you look naturally no-makeup gorgeous. She knows how to make your masquerade wedding makeup wow EVERYONE. She is your go-to Dallas makeup artist.
The best part is that Vivienne's skills are VERSATILE. She can absolutely make you look radiant on your wedding day (and beyond), but she's got other mad skillz:
- Airbrushing
- Body painting
- Vintage styling
- Tattoo coverup
Have conservative relatives who won't love your inked sleeve? We'd love you to rock it, but if you just can't, Vivienne can make it disappear. Need fabulously airbrushed costume makeup for your wedding party? Vivienne will own that shit. Trust.
Let's hear from Vivienne herself on her method, her ideas, and why you'll go apeshit for her work and YOUR FACE:
I'm passionate about color, unique styling, and all about YOU. I've been in the cosmetic industry a little over a decade, with my hands in just about every pot imaginable: from being a cosmetic buyer for companies, to being the makeup artist who shows you the best products for your lifestyle. In 2011, I decided to leave the cosmetic world to pursue my dream of being a full-time makeup and hair stylist and it has been whirlwind ever since.
My focus for makeup and hair is to have YOU shine through. I want my clients to see images from their event years down the road and remember the day, how important it was to them, and see how amazing they looked and feel those emotions all over again. I focus on unique styling, long wear of the application, and ease of wear. I will work with you to create a look that shows your absolute true self at your best.
Vivienne is offbeat herself and is an LGBTQ community ally, which means she's open to all of your offbeat ideas and all your partnership types. Inclusive, man, that's what it's all about. Let's hear from her:
I myself am very offbeat, so I love to take non traditional approaches to beauty. In every trial, I take time to sit down with each bride or groom and chat with them about their personality, their vision, and how they want to look on their big day. I have also catered to the LGBTQ community for many years and take special pride in being an ally for the community, and love being a part of this day for so many wonderful people.
If you're in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area (or beyond!), and need a failsafe makeup and hair look, Vivienne is absolutely your girl. Your makeup will last all day and make you look divine in person and in photos. Let's face it, knowing how to style for a camera is a skill most of us don't have. Go say hello to Vivienne and book her for your wedding day before her calendar's full.
I said this on Facebook but I think it needs to go here as well. As one beyond satisfied Happy Offbeat Bride I can’t say enough wonderful things about Vivienne. From her professionalism to her artistry she is amazing!
I know this is an old post, but I couldn’t find another way to leave a review. Vivienne is magic. That’s all there is to it. When I saw myself after she was done with my wedding makeup, I was stunned. I’m pretty sure I said “holy shit”. I went in super anxious- I HATE makeup- but she made me feel super comfortable and then I looked stunning. Really. My husband cried when he saw me.
