Everyone I work with is seeking something different from the mainstream, and my job is to understand how that uniqueness will translate into a headpiece that represents and thrills. Each headpiece I hand-craft, restore, or add to the collection is done with thought and care, and it's a special moment when a bride and headpiece “find” each other like long-lost loves.
Working one-on-one with women of all stripes, I've learned that Offbeat Brides can be traditional and traditional brides can be offbeat. No one is one-dimensional. I welcome ALL brides, whether they're confident, conservative, partial to squirrel skulls, same-sex, mixed race, boho, plus-sized, or honoring a theme. Everyone should have the wedding headpiece of their dreams, even if it hasn't been designed yet!

The 1920s vintage wax orange blossom wreath-crown from The Feathered Head that I wore truly made my outfit, and I was able to incorporate it in my hairstyle for the ceremony and pictures (down), and the reception (up for dancing). I went for a romantic, vintage, and bohemian look, and we added little daisies to the headpiece which were also featured in my floral arrangements and bouquets.
