Sandy, the bride, made her bouquet out of christmas tree ornaments, and her bridesmaid's bouquets out of paper. (Unrelated: check out Sandy's shoes! And her purple crinoline! *swoon* I'm dying over here!)

Sandy also made the centerpieces out of paper:

Check out all the photos here, and rest assured that I'm already stalking Sandy and will hopefully have a full profile soon. You all know how much I love a colorful wedding

Comments on Christmas ornament bouquet and paper centerpieces

  1. Great pictures and cool idea to reuse those wonderful ornaments for a bouquet!! I love those paper flowers so cool too. I also love the cake!! awesome wedding and overall pictures!! Congrats to the couple!! By the way great use of a “green” wedding to reuse everything, well almost everything!

  2. I have the same dress, except my sash is black. I loved her purple crinoline and especially the shoes (I already have some glittery silver chucks picked out though). Any hints on where to get a crinoline like that?

  3. The crinoline was originally a regular white one from David’s Bridal. There are lots of crinoline dying tutorials online and, trust me, it’s just as easy as everyone says!

Just a warning, though, I think that dress is actually not supposed to have a crinoline added (because there’s already some tulle built in), but I didn’t care. We had to cut out some of the purple to make it less mega-poofy but it worked.

    • Sandy! I don’t know if you still visit Offbeat Bride or not, but I also tried to reach you vis your Flickr account. I am in LOVE with the sash on your dress! I must have it in orange if possible! Can you tell me where you got it? Or if there’s a pattern online for it somewhere?
I don’t really have time to have it made, but I would try if I had to! Please! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

  4. I adore the paper bouquet! I’m all about the splashes of colour too. I’m having the original crinoline of my dress removed and getting my grandma to sew in a red one for a nice pop of colour.

  5. LOVE the flowers—did you use a pattern? i so need to make those..any help you can give would be appreciated!

  6. I absolutly love everything about your wedding and I am dying to know how to make those awesome paper flowers! I would love if you could let me know how they’re made!
