We've featured a fair few castle wedding venues in our real weddings, and we wanted to bask in all their regal AF glory. Are you lucky enough to be having a wedding in the vicinity of one of these castle venues? Please invite me so I can relish in your royalness for a mere moment.
Your fairytale, Medieval, Renaissance, Game of Thrones, and fantasy weddings need to be held in one of these bad boys…
Reema and Derek had a dream castle wedding at Cloghan Castle, in Co. Galway, Ireland. The drama! Oh, and just wait until you see the dining hall.
Diana and Trey somehow gorgeously combined 8-bit with reality at The Castle at Rockwall in Rockwall, Texas.
Krys and Kayla made the most of an epic shot in front of Castle Ottis in Saint Augustine, Florida.
Heather and Bobby's Lord of the Rings meets Game of Thrones wedding was all our fantasties come to life at Dunafon Castle in Idledale, Colorado.
Stephanie and Joe making the most of capes-meets-castle at The Castle at Maryvale, Lutherville, Maryland.
Choosing a photo from Liv and Dan's wedding at Bill Miller's Castle in Branford, Connecticut was nearly impossible. Heart eyes!
Angeline and Kirk had to fit in the whole of Larnach Castle in Dunedin, New Zealand. So worth it!
Sheena and Leo bring the glam to Delta Bessborough in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Lenny and Mark clearly had big cause to celebrate by snagging Wijenburg Castle in Echteld, the Netherlands.
Rhiannon and Graham remixed rainbows and leather at Rye Castle in Rye, East Sussex, England.
David Bowie in flight at Joanne and Brian's wedding at Lumley Castle in Durham, England.
April and Zack made the most of these dramatic doors at Shakespeare's Castle Restaurant in Ellwood City, PA.
Elena and Flo found out that not all castle venues are expensive. They got a deal at Chateau du Mont Joly in Sampans, France.
Mandi and Neil had the glow of modern lighting at Cooling Castle Barn in Kent, UK.

Ooh, adding! 🙂
I had no idea there were so many castles in the states! Heart eyes all over that.
Right? You’d never know there were so many!
My sister is getting married this summer at Dunafon Castle in Idledale, CO. It’s a very nice venue.
I came just to make sure Squire’s Castle was on the list — I’m also glad Jean mentioned Ravenwood, too! YAY OHIO
So many beautiful castles! My fiance and I were going to choose a castle but went with an Anglo-Saxon barn instead. We are spoilt for castles in the UK, these are just some of the great ones:

I could go on forever but I probably shouldn’t…
A word of caution to anyone planning a castle wedding, make sure you clearly understand the rules regarding tourists. I say this because we witnessed a wedding taking place at Boldt Castle in NY because we happened to be touring it at the time. That castle does not close down for weddings so along with the invited guests the bride and groom had a couple hundred strangers watching their wedding as well! Just something to keep in the back of your mind when planning!
