Have you ever asked yourself it's ok for bridesmaids to wear white? Ever wondered what it might look like to see a bride in a black wedding dress and the bridesmaids in white? Get yourself ready, because Mari & Anthony's wedding is about to answer all these questions in the affirmative!
Mari & Anthony got married in May 2021 in Springfield, MA, and since they both love Harry Potter, there were lots of neat Harry Potter details in the day, from the 3d-printed ring box and the paper flower bouquets, all awesome Etsy finds.
The couple have been together for years, and each of them have children from previous partners, so getting married was about making a commitment to each other and fully uniting their family.
Ok, so what about these bridesmaids in white?
The couple made an amazing modern choice for the attire for the wedding party:
While Anthony was dressed in a sharp blue suit with black shirt, the bridesmaids and flower girls were all dressed in white with black accents… the bride was wearing a very cool black wedding dress!
(Added budget bonus? She found the dress on ebay.)
Due to Covid-19, the couple had to scale back their wedding day, so it was a smaller ceremony with no reception. The upside? The micro-wedding was able to take place at the Carriage House at Barney Estate, an amazing historic venue that looks kind of like a gingerbread house.
They also did almost everything DIY, including their fabulous ceremony arch!
