Jayme and Dominic are vegan motorcycle enthusiasts who planned the sweetest little backyard vegan wedding in California. Jayme walked down the “aisle” with her father to a ukulele version of “Today” by Smashing Pumpkins. Their handwritten vows were followed up by a whiskey flask unity ceremony in a public park amphitheater. The funniest part of the ceremony was the surprise background din of a meetup of 100+ LARPers having a battle! They took a break from their fight to let the ceremony commence, and watched from afar before letting out a huge cheer when Jayme and Dominic kissed.
After the ceremony, everyone headed over to Jayme's parent's house for a casual 70-person backyard taco party. Jayme's uncle built a custom bar for Dominic's vast collection of whiskey. The vegan menu included soy chorizo tostaditos and grilled veggie and potato tacos, and salsa bar.

Literally just had a soy chorizo burrito for lunch <3 My kind of couple! Super cool wedding 🙂
Lovely wedding. Beautiful bride, sexy red lipstick. Your husband and you are lucky that you found each other!!!
Your tattoos are cool. The anime, the lipstick, the spool of thread. What some of the others on your arm tats. P.S. They are trivial questions but I am interested in why people choose some of the ones that they do….
Hi DeeDee!
First of all, thank you!
Other tattoos on my arm…let’s see, I’ve got a teacup (I got while in London), a pin cushion, my dog, my 3 cats w/the nesting doll, some bats, a jack-o-lantern moth, and an umbrella. That’s just on my right arm! I tend to get things that represent me. I tend to be pretty introverted so if someone were to just look at my arm, they’d know quite a bit about me right off the bat. Some of them I just got because I liked them. That’s really all there is to it for me. =)

Thank you so much for sharing this wedding! Jayme + Dominic were a dream come true to work with. Talk about a super cool bride!! And the photos by Laura were so prefect. She captured the love, beauty, emotion, and silliness of the day.
This is a gorgeous weddng! One thing I love about seeing real weddings is the way you really get to see things brought to life. I adore your wedding dress and thought it was bound to be a totally offbeat one of a kind dress. I never would have guessed it was David’s Bridal and the picture on the website really doesn’t jump out at me – all those similar styled pictures just blur into one. But on you it looks really great and unique, and meshes with your style perfectly. A nice reminder that offbeat weddings don’t necessarily mean everything has to be handcrafted by llamas or whatever!
Thank you! The pictures of the dress on the website really do it no justice at all, even when my mom showed it to me on the hanger, it was still “meh”. (This was actually my second dress, the first one was pretty but it did not suit my personality at all.) So, to humor her, I decided to give it a go and something magical happened. I didn’t want to take the damn thing off!
