Overalls, a choreographed first dance, and custom popcorn at this A-frame wedding
Nidia and Jamal had an adorable wedding at an A-frame at Ross Camp in West Lafayette, Indiana. They originally planned to have their ceremony outside in front of a pine tree and pond, but Mother Nature forced them inside due to rain. The ceremony included one of our favorite readings, “I Like You,” and instead of having a first kiss, they high-fived (and then kissed because why not?).
Rock Band, drag kings, and burlesque: this rainbow wedding triumphs
Crystal and Kalem wanted the focus of their wedding to be on major FUN, so that called for Rock Band, board games, personalized crossword puzzles, Mad Libs, a rapper, drag kings, and burlesque. Add in a ring warming, a moment of silence/blessing during the ceremony, a handfasting, and an art gallery surprise from Kalem with loads of art, this rainbow wedding gave us reason to LIVE.
In lieu of a first dance, they had a first Rock Band song, and their six parental figures joined for a family performance.
Is a GIF photo booth the way to get all your guests to change their profile pic?
This amazing two-dude vintage wedding had a very fun photo booth alternative: a GIF photo booth! It’s pronounced GIF, not GIF, btw (oh terrible internet jokes…). Since we’re already in the thick of internetting, GIF-ing our guests just seems like the right choice for maximum funs. Plus, imagine how many of these GIFs will become profile photos? Like, all of them?
Alice meets anime with this custom dress giving us ALL the happy chills
Megan and Dale had an Alice in Wonderland-themed wedding with touches of anime, manga, gaming, and general geekery. One detail that really made the neck hair tingle was Megan’s gorgeous, custom dress (wings and butterflies included!). The photo of the guests reacting was our reaction, too. Cue mouth agape emoji! Let’s hear how Megan describes it…
