These guest book plates transform into kick-ass home decor
Jenne and Vojtech’s art deco 1920s-themed Texas wedding had some gorgeous moments (including a Star Wars t-shirt tribute from the groomsmen!). One detail stood out as a total steal-this idea. They offered up plates as their guest book! Guests signed them with permanent markers for placement on the couple’s walls after the wedding.

Monster in-laws, the evil in-laws… it’s absolutely true that society has demonized the term in-laws into something that isn’t exactly reflective of reality. I’m all for embracing terms with formerly negative connotation and reforming them with positivity, but sometimes it’s just not practical for daily use. Do any of you call your partner’s family by something other than the in-laws?
