Marian & Elliot’s joyful backyard wedding with karaoke
Remember those role-reversed engagement photos we featured last year that went viral? Here they are actually married! There’s an over-excited puppy, a fabulous backyard Airbnb locale, and sweet and simple touches that will inspire anyone looking for a laid-back and personal wedding.
Sophie & James’ geeky pastel Welsh wedding
Pastel flowers of all types abound in this wedding: knitted flowers, paper flowers, fabric flowers, oh my! This pastel wonderland extended into the bridesmaid’s dresses, the video game decor, and even the centerpieces. Take a peek at this Welsh wedding full of geek-tastic whimsy.

Bettina & Tavish’s solstice viking and Victorian pagan wedding
This viking meets Victorian wedding is a mashup of amazing DIY (including the outfits AND the food!), a lovely outdoor setting perfect the occasion, and friends who totally embrace the Pagan aspects of this wedding to make the ceremony magical. Oh, and a bunch of kilts abound for your pleasure.
Maintenance-shaming: You don’t have to pretend you’re so cool that you’re “over” your own wedding
Upon hearing that I want my hair and makeup done, people say, “but you’re so low-maintenance.” So I have invented a term for what I’m going through: “maintenance-shaming.”
