The Offbeat Bride: Hollianne, Owner of Revolution Bridal On-site Hair & Makeup and part funeral home hairstylist (from your best to your worst days!)
Her offbeat partner: Jonathan, Warehouse Manager
Date and location of wedding: Southern Mansion, Cape May, NJ — November 4, 2016
Our offbeat wedding at a glance:
I liked to call it Romantic Goth — we kept it very classy and eclectic, but with a twist. I wore a black gown and gray suede Dr. Martens. We had a slight Addams Family nod in the theme. Jonathan and I both have a Gomez and Morticia tattoos with our names on our arms, so we had the same artwork framed for everyone to sign. Jonathan wore Addams Family cufflinks, we had a themed cake topper, and some invite verbiage that paid homage to our favorite couple.
Tell us about the ceremony:
We are both atheists so we chose to leave the wording short, sweet, and just about our promises to one another.
Tell us about your reception:
True to its name, I had to pick the Southern Mansions Southern-style buffet equipped with BBQ chicken, brisket, mac and cheese, sweet potato casserole, and Cajun potato salad. We didn't forget the cornbread! For favors, we made Apple Pie Moonshine and gave everyone a Mason jar labeled “Love Potion.”
We danced the night away with about 70 family and friends (and an open bar, of course). Our son Avery was the life of the party. You know, with a few meltdowns aptly timed for the toast and dessert… but that's kids! We couldn't have asked for it to be better.

Hey, 3 new pins for my Edgy Bridal Wear board on Pinterest! Love the cufflinks!
love the fact that they got a print of their tattoos for the guests to sign. Might have to steal that idea <3
That bouquet is simply amazing! I love the whole vibe (being in a Gomez/Morticia-inspired relationship myself), but that was the stand-out accessory to me.
