Heather, a self-described “writer, tight-wad, and fantasy nerd” married Nic, an outdoorsman who insists on “building his own everything,” in a lovely forest on a rainy wedding day in Stony Bottom, West Virginia.

Heather described it so perfectly that I'm going to quote it:

Some might describe our wedding as Elvish-like or Tolkien influenced while others would note a Bohemian or even music festival-type atmosphere. My maid-of-honor felt there was a Shakespearean theme while my parents appreciated how cost-conscious we were. I would say that all of these observations are fair, but maintain that our wedding was born of who we are as a couple, which is precisely why there is no single adjective that can, on it’s own, recapture the day.

They're just a festival-going, nature-loving couple who wanted to throw a rad party with camping, port-o-potties, lanterns, umbrellas, and an outdoor sink made by Nic. Let's peek at their outdoor wedding shenanigans and get heart eyes.
