A fantastical villainous Candyland sideshow music fest wedding
My husband and I live in and run a House Of Oddities Museum in Pittsburgh called Trundle Manor. We’re used to being surrounded by vintage taxidermy, dead things floating in jars, coffins, and our own art, so the wedding had to be grand enough and weird enough to suit us.
Our wedding cake was a zombified Marie Antoinette head festooned with feathers and candy! It sat alongside our faux wedding cake topped with the taxidermied squirrels we made on our first date in the basement.
Float through the air with the greatest of ease at this wedding on the flying trapeze
Margaret and Henry met and fell in love while at trapeze circus school. You know what this means: trapeze and circus-style performances abounded! Their circus family was included in trapeze acts, tightrope, acrobatics, and a marching band. They even got a few trapeze photos in their wedding finery. Are you ready for this circus-y trapeze wedding in Massachusetts? Don’t miss the circus-inspired centerpieces, flowery cake, and Margaret’s retro black reception dress!
My circus, my monkeys: our wedding put the “fun” in dysfunctional
Both our families are slightly unconventional, to say the least. We decided that our families put the “fun” in dysfunctional, and wanted to create a wedding day that was full of festivities to match our family’s strange dynamics. We are proud of the little family that we have, so we decided to put on a carnival-themed wedding to honor our dysfunction. Here’s how we did it…

This wedding is like if David Lynch filmed The Addams Family ballroom scene (you’ll want to see!)
“The initial concept was: what if David Lynch was to film the ballroom scene from the Addams Family movie and the only cinematographer available was Xavier Pérez Grobet (Nacho Libre)?” Yep, this wedding had STYLE… and aerialists, contortionists, a cake with a terrarium in the middle, excellent vintage fashion, and so much personality. You’ll want to see it as much as you wanted to see its inspiration…
Step right up for this carnival wedding at a vineyard (with grape stomping!)
Jenny and Victor had a luxe carnival wedding that was seriously dazzling. Think the most detailed and whimsical carnival ever with a wedding as the cherry on top. They described their goal as this: “Whimsical, carefree — an opportunity for adults to feel like kids again, joyous and accepting.”
Don’t miss the adorable first look with Jenny’s dad, the barbershop quartet, cotton candy, so many desserts, popcorn, wine, dancing, and a awesome themed cake.
