Hair inspiration for brides with mohawks

At a Glance

While this is a photo of Tribesmaid Dynamiterose‘s bridesmaid Krisztianna, I couldn’t help but note how her hair may inspire our brides out there. How incredible would this whole hairstyle and fascinator combo be for brides with mohawks? I love the placement of the fascinator and the swept back feel of the ‘hawk.

I am planning a hybrid between a faux hawk and a vintage victory roll hairstyle for my wedding. I made a Pinterest board to help me figure out what the hell that would look like. With the Big Day less than 3 months away, I’m getting pretty excited about rocking my made-up ‘do!

This is awesome! I’m following this board because I still don’t know what to do with my raspberry-colored Tegan-esque hair! Though, who knows what color it will be by Spring 🙂

Thanks to you and that board, I have found my sister’s hair for the wedding. Thank you a hundred times!

So fun! You could say your ‘something blue’ is your hair. So amazing!

I went to an event at St James Palace recently on behalf of the charity I work for, I can wear my hair down and be incognito but I wanted to still look like me so put my mohawk up into a big soft quiff and had fake flowers clipped in all the way down either side to decorate it.

Like this hair-do it was a good way to turn it into a glamour rather than punk look!

I’m so going to the hair dressers tomorrow. I need a faux hawk long hair cross breed

I love it! It even has a skull on it.

For my wedding I made a headband that had flowers and a veil attached to the sides. I then used my mohawk to cover up the top portion of the headband. That way I got to have both a fancy headpiece and a mohawk.

    OMGoooodneeeessss!!!

I’ve been away for a while and totally missed this. Krisztianna looked amazing. I should also point out that the wonderful gal she is… she made all of our head pieces!

I have to go tell her she’s famous now. 🙂

Any inspiration for a naturally curly haired Mohawk or two… or six or a dozen?

Seriously, though, love how the blue was added to not only make this pop but also check off a wedding tradition while giving it a little spin on its head. So happy to see some short ‘hawk love!
