This is one of those wedding things that made me cry. Our cake artist actually started watching Adventure Time to get ready to make this cake — and then they happened to hire a new sculptor who is a huge fan and was stoked to work on this project. I still cannot believe this thing!
We saved Finn, Flame Princess, Jake, Marceline, BMO, Ice King and Finn’s backpack (which was filled with flowers), and I fully intend to make a display out of them. Our guests kept saying that it looked like something they would see on Cake Boss, and I couldn’t agree more.
I honestly thought about shellacking the cake and saving it forever, but I really wanted to get a taste. And good thing I didn’t shellack the cake, because it was also the most delicious wedding cake I’ve ever eaten: banana chocolate and lemon raspberry.
