Shane and Jenner's wedding had me at “shark mouth portrait.” But beyond this clearly awesome photo, their wedding, photographed by Lakshal Perera, featured some fabulous rockabilly styling, a game of rock-paper-scissors for the vows, and some rad tattoos — real and temporary! Check out this rockin' rock-paper-scissors rockabilly wedding in Wollongong, Australia. (Say that three times fast.)
See what I mean about the style? I just can't get over how amazing the boys look.
Uh oh — stalemate for the vow readings.
They featured burlesque dancers at their wedding reception…
… and these super bad-ass custom temporary tattoos!
To see more of the rockin' details (more tattoos, zombie portraits, and a thrift store photo shoot) head over to Lakshal Perera's blog.
Great style! I’d love to see more of her dress!
Wollongong! We honeymooned there. It’s great to see such a fabulous wedding in a place we loved. Fantastic!
Yay, Gong brides represent!
This is my new favorite wedding ever.
i wanna know how rock/paper/scissors was worked into their vows!
We’ve actually had a LOT of couples work rock paper scissors into their vows: http://offbeatwed.com/tag/rock-paper-scissors
Generally they play to see who goes first! 🙂
Yay! Thanks for posting this Megs and Offbeat Bride! It’s a lovely feeling seeing my work up on my favourite wedding website! 🙂
LOVE the dress!!!
I’ve been looking for a cool Gong photog! So happy my town is represented
I can not recommend Lucky highly enough! He made us feel so relaxed and got along with everyone so well, it felt like he was a guest! Upbeat all day and willing to try anything, even in the face of no dinner! (catering mishap!) Like having a really good friend that’s also a totally kick ass and professional photographer!
Also, he got my wedding on OffbeatBride, which is pretty *squeee* worthy!
Great wedding! Can you help us? My fiance has been looking for a tux like the ones featured here! Would you be kind enough to tell us where we would get something similar?
Thanks!
