The mini Xbox controllers are the cutest things EVER! Right about now, I'm sure you're dying to know how these were made. Well, allow her to explain…

P1171047 alternative wedding ideas from Offbeat Wed (formerly Offbeat Bride)I made the controllers out of Crayola Model Magic. I just shaped them as best as possible and let dry overnight. The next day I added a piece of floral wire to the back and tacked it on using some more of the Model Magic. Once that was dry, I added a pick made of beads in our wedding colors and a small leaf for the background. The groom also has a brooch in his to match my brooch bouquet.

Once the pieces were all together, I wrapped them in a ribbon to match the bridesmaids bouquets and added a bit of hot glue to make sure it would stay. So super easy to make and something that the guys will all love to wear!

  1. OMGOSH! I wish I’d known about these when my brother got married. Although, I did find some amazing Megaman cuff links on Etsy, which were pretty awesome. But these would have been perfect for him and all his groomsmen. They’re all gamers…

  2. Personally, I’m itching to know what bouquets she paired with these. When I first saw the picture, I thought they were bouquets using actual controllers and I may have Eeeeee!’ed quite loudly.

    • *gamer geek moment* That game is like crack. Can’t wait for the next installment next month. *end gamer geek moment*

      • Although if I hear ‘Do you want a ladder so you can get off my back’ ONE MOAR TIME!!!
        😛

  3. Oh my goodness, I LOVE these! So cute!

I’m doing a gaming themed wedding, and I’d been trying to decide what I’d do for boutonnieres, and this is really inspiring.
