Sandra and Jay got married at an old prison in New Jersey. As Sandra put it, “We felt there was no place more perfect for our wedding than the Burlington County Historic Prison; a gorgeously structured building seemingly lost in time, untouched by the infectious monotony of modern society. It was here that my accomplice became my husband.” And they both went through great lengths to recreate a 1930s era wedding and the resulting wedding porn is –ugh– amazing for lack of a better word…

This was without a doubt the best wedding I’ve ever had the privilege of photographing. I can’t thank Sandra + Jay enough for including me in their incredible day! I hope to hear more from couples like them who “dare to walk off the beaten aisle”!

My fiance and I are doing wingtips, too! (We’re having our shabang in a speakeasy.) I’m actually more excited for my shoes than my dress.

This is really, really stunning. You both look amazing, and so happy. And your back tat, Sandra — WOW!

*ahem* I correct myself — a FORMER speakeasy, since, ya know… prohibition ended just a little while back there.
